Well, well, well, what do we have here? My keen senses detect a stupendously wealthy Independent looking to spend their hard-earned funds on some exquisite wares. Correct, yes?

Your senses are not as keen as you seem to think. We come seeking nothing more than information regarding the burial location of Palthani, an ancient Takret gem crafter.

Ah, so you seek the fabled Palthani gemstone! So many think it to be nothing more than a myth. But we share a common faith, you and I. It must exist!

However, I’m afraid that I can’t help you. My interest has always been nothing more than a distant admiration. I have never attempted to ascertain the location of Palthani’s tomb.

I know just the very person who might be able to help you. His clientele tends to be of a more… how to put this… nefarious nature than my own.

Go to Zalak in the Maumo system and ask for Feston. Thieves and tomb raiders the world over come to sell their ill-gotten gains to him. He should be able to tell you something.

So, according to this customer of mine, she was on her way to the Dela system. I’m not sure exactly where, but if you head over there then you might be able to catch up with her.

Maybe you can help each other find it and then fight to the death over who gets to crack it open. Just a suggestion. None of my business!

On the contrary, we have come seeking something from you – information. We seek the location of Palthani’s tomb. Would it be safe to assume that you have heard of this?

Of course I’ve heard of him! Finest Takret gem crafter the quadrant has ever known. Seems to be an increased interest in him lately. You’re not the first to say his name.

Some lady came by in the last few days, saying how she was on her way to “pay her respects” to Palthani. She must have found the location of his tomb. I had no idea it would be there!

To business, Independent. Seeing as I’m willing to halt the excavation of Lufau, I will instead defer my backup plan to you. This way, we’ll cast a wider net during our search.

One of the many rumors regarding the location of the Palthani gemstone places it in the hands of its maker – encased in a tomb along with the remains of Palthani himself.

The trouble is, there is much dispute regarding the location of his tomb. Frankly, I was somewhat dreading having to entertain this course of action. But now it’s your problem, not mine!

Your job is to ascertain the location of the tomb. Palthani is something of a legend among jewelers and gem crafters. I would suggest that you begin your search by discussing the matter with some of them.

Commander, records show that there is a nearby trading outpost which is home to an Yridian specializing in jewelry and fine gemstones. We should begin our inquiries there.
