Then why do you oppose us now? We seek only to defend Vulcan and its people.

Vulcan is gone. We both saw it happen. All we can do now is move on and try to exemplify Vulcan ideals. Logic. Rationale. Peace.

Logic dictates that we destroy the Vi’dar before it can destroy us. Even if it means killing one of our own in the process.

Commander, I am picking up an emergency signal… There has been an attack in Romulan space. A Tal Shiar base has been destroyed by a Vulcan vessel.

What will you do now, T’Nor? The Romulans will retaliate against us for this attack. Will you start a war with Starfleet at the same time?

Investigate this attack on the Romulans. Ensure that our people do not enter a war we cannot win. Do this, and I may consider imprisoning you on New Vulcan.

We must search the area quickly, Commander. Romulan response time to attacks of this magnitude are exceptionally fast.

It seems as though an explosion pierced the exterior hull plating before triggering a catastrophic station wide systems failure.

I am picking up evidence of energy burns on the hull of the station, also. Interesting. The burn marks match the firing pattern of the Vi’dar, almost perfectly.

However, I am also reading debris around the explosion site. It appears that a ship detonated in close proximity. It is possible that whatever left these burn marks also destroyed this ship.

I do not think it is a coincidence, Commander. Look at the origin point of the explosion. It lines up perfectly with the destroyed ship. That vessel caused the chain reaction.
