- We must assume that the Cult has taken her. With Maia’s capabilities, their capacity for chaos will increase by an order of magnitude.

- Dialogue
- I believe Geordi and I may be of assistance. Maia is, at her very core, data. In order to manifest herself in a 3D environment, she projects a holographic image. An image that requires power.

- Character
- Geordi La Forge
- Dialogue
- Unlike other holographic interfaces, though, Maia uses a pretty unique power source. She’s powered by a miniature twin ion reactor, fueled by a compound of ionized dilithium energy and dark matter.

- Dialogue
- If we can isolate the energy signature from her power source, we can bring the Enterprise right to her.

- Dialogue
- I doubt the Cult would be keeping her online. Their first action was likely to deactivate her, to prevent this kind of tracking.

- Dialogue
- True, but what if we could turn her back on remotely? Data?

- Dialogue
- I theorize that Maia had likely installed a backup personality routine into the Commander’s Operations building in the case of data corruption.

- Dialogue
- Such a backup would maintain a constant, intrinsic connection to the primary copy. If we were to access the backup’s systems, we may be able to trigger a remote activation sequence.

- Dialogue
- Maia left a spare set of keys around here somewhere. We just need to find ‘em, and we can get her back online.

- Dialogue
- I have been studying Maia’s codebase for some time now. With the Commander’s assistance, as well as access to the Research & Development building, I believe we can find this backup.

- We’re going to need some more power, though. You might want to upgrade your R&D building.
