He can usually be found skulking about the depths of Zaurak. Once he’s taken care of, come back to me and we can settle things up.

That is correct. We are to assume you are in possession of an antimatter compositor that is available for purchase?

Oh, I have your compositor alright. But it’s not cheap. They’re fairly hard to come by these days.

There’s this damned Rigellian creep giving me some grief lately. Some lowlife without a rank or a fleet trying to make a name for himself.

He comes into my shop and demands that I pay him for protection. If I refuse, he starts trashing the place until I agree to pay him. I suppose I’m paying him for protection from… well, him!

I’ve had enough of it. You seem more than capable of taking care of yourself out there. If you can see your way to solving this problem for me, you can have the hardware free of charge.

So, like I was saying, I may have figured out the problem here. Right now, the defense array is powered by a standard Dilithium compositor.

However, this doesn’t seem to be sufficient to keep the shield projection stable. The shield projection instead keeps modulating – this is bad news for the colonists.

Simply put, we swap out the Dilithium compositor with an antimatter compositor!

We can then use this new configuration to reverse the molecular charge of the shield projection. I’m almost certain that this might stop the modulation in the projection.

There’s a vendor by the name of Tavish over on Vaset who owes us a favor. He deals in all sorts of spare hardware and techno-junk that I don’t understand. He might be the very man we need.
