LCARS-PRIME / COMMUNITY UPDATE
LCARS-Prime Update 9-13-2026
Update completed for LCARS-Prime’s recommendation engine.
But First!
The @role queue channels are not available right now. I am working on a few AI updates that should improve the responses. I will have those channels activated again as soon as I get Atlas (computer AI) back to reasoning again.
- Recommendation Improvements
- Mining recommendations now respect the selected resource instead of treating every mining ability as relevant.
- Transogen recommendations correctly prioritize protected cargo and Transogen-compatible officers, including proper captain and bridge positioning.
- Specialized mining ships, such as the Serene Squall for Transogen, are now considered correctly.
- Hostile-specific officer restrictions are treated as exclusions when they conflict with the selected target.
- Target engagement restrictions are enforced—for example, Federation Elite Assassins only allow eligible Klingon- or Romulan-designed ships.
- Crew candidate pools remain broad until mechanics and available battle evidence have been evaluated.
- Below-deck seating now follows the selected ship’s actual level capacity.
- Combat success estimates no longer flatten severely mismatched battles to the same 20%. Power comparisons now use a continuous scale, while confidence remains a separate measurement of evidence quality.
Thanks to @Jaehend for pointing out some of these issues today. Just in time for me weekend updates. Now to test the fixes in real time.
Thank you to everyone testing LCARS-Prime and reporting results. Your real-world examples continue to make Atlas smarter and more dependable.
As always – Much love for all those who are here enduring these bot growth pains with me. The path to greatness is never easy. God Bless and ❤️
