I did several updates today. Most of today’s work focused on making @Computer feel more like an actual Star Trek Computer instead of just a search box.

LCARS Prime Updates
@Computer natural language received a major overhaul. It should better understand what you are asking instead of grabbing one word and searching everything.

Conversation memory was improved. If LCARS asks you to choose a hostile, activity or target, you can continue with replies like 1, first one or Borg Tactical Probe lv 50 without it forgetting the conversation.

@Computer crew recommendations now use the same current activities and hostile target data as /recommend.

System questions were improved.

• Known systems should now open the full system display, & coordinates should correctly show both X & Y.
• Combat mechanics questions are much smarter. You can ask things like:
• Can I get 100% hull breach when combat starts?
• Can I ignore an enemy’s shields?
• Which officers increase my shield mitigation?
LCARS will try to answer directly & show the relevant officers & conditions instead of dumping unrelated search results.

My Collection & Master Database selections should now be respected properly for these questions.

Atlas is back! When @Computer needs time to work, the LCARS // ATLAS IS THINKING display should appear and disappear when the answer is ready.

The old startup message asking server owners to configure the @Computer role has been removed.
I also fixed several source-routing issues that could cause unrelated Scopely articles or database records to appear.

Please, if you like what is being done, you can donate #channel or get some merch to show off LCARS Prime #channel. While I would like server boost too. Paying the hosting is a much better request of you amazing folks.

As always – Much love for all those who are here & watching me trudge down this road. God Bless and ❤️
