Officers
Doctor T'Ana
CLASS: SCIENCE
GROUP: LOWER DECKS
FACTION: FEDERATION
With a ship as prone to mishap as the U.S.S. Cerritos, only the most adept physicians would be capable of maintaining the health and integrity of the crew. In her role as chief medical officer of the U.S.S. Cerritos, Dr. T’Ana has proven time and time again to be just the right Caitian for the job.
Although prone to unleashing torrents of profanity at a moment’s notice, T’Ana has been capable of maintaining friendships and even romantic interests during her time onboard the Cerritos. Perhaps even more surprisingly, T’Ana has also taken a number of lower deckers under her wing – her mentorship of Ensign Tendi was instrumental in Tendi’s admission into the senior science officer’s training program. Even though T’Ana retained a temper as sharp as her claws, she has frequently demonstrated the capability to show affection for her fellow crewmates.
Contrary to the observations of certain Starfleet Ensigns, T’Ana is more than just a cat in a coat. From Galardonian rage viruses to mugato venom poisoning, if something is ailing you, then Dr. T’Ana likely has the cure… Just don’t expect a warm bedside manner while you recuperate.
