Officers
Jirali
CLASS: ENGINEERING
GROUP: EMERALD CHAIN
FACTION: NONE
With a father who left his family to become a Starfleet engineer and a mother who is a high-ranking officer in the Emerald Chain, Jirali has always been torn between two words. Though her father's absence left her with feelings of abandonment and resentment, she nevertheless spent her childhood dreaming of following in his footsteps. These dreams were cruelly shattered when her father and his crew were attacked by the Borg Collective.
In the years since, Jirali's already fraught relationship with her mother has eroded further as Jirali's interest – obsession – with the Borg has grown. No one in the Emerald Chain knows as much about Borg technology, or engineering, for that matter. Her expertise has made her a hot commodity, a pliers for hire that plays by her own rules. And though she would never admit it, she still holds out hope that she will one day see her father again, save him from his fate as a Borg drone, and reunite her fractured family for good.
